Overview
This project showcases my logo design for The Community Closet, a non-profit organization based in downtown Milton. The Community Closet, formerly known as “Clothes Without Cost,” has been serving the community for over 15 years and recently rebranded to better reflect its mission of providing accessible clothing in a welcoming, community-focused environment. Operating out of Southside Church, the organization has invested in creating a more inviting space for its visitors, and the new logo is a key part of this refreshed identity.
The design challenge was to create a professional logo that captures the friendly, inclusive spirit of The Community Closet.
Project Objectives
Minimalist Design
Utilize Window Architecture

The Logo
Requirements
-
Friendly
-
Community
-
Monochromatic
-
Minimalist/Simple
-
An archway to match the buildings window style
-
Clothing/Closet motifs

The design
The proposed design utilizes the arched shape of the building windows. Three figured are seen within to represent the surrounding community but are abstracted to reflect clothing hangers, speaking to the organization itself and the items it supplies. Rounded corners on every shape and text echos the friendly atmosphere and solidifies that this is a place for anyone within the community.
